Appendix 4 – If Money Orders Don’t Print at Teller Closeout

Don’t panic.  This situation can easily be fixed either at the time of closeout or through adjustments the following day.  Follow these 6 steps:

1.)  Click Cancel in the current closeout step, and then Exit out of the Teller Closeout window.  If the Teller closeout is complete, reverse the Teller Closeout.

2.)  Fix the Money Order printer.  For assistance call Tech Support.

3.)  Void the Store MOs – they are the final Teller transactions listed and have an “Offset Sales” below them.  Do NOT void the transactions marked “Offset Sales.”

4.)  Go into Edit Box Information.  Be sure the money order number in the printer matches the current number here.

5.)  Print a Store Money Order for each liability from the Teller Drawer.  The amounts should match exactly the transactions that were voided in step 3 above.

7.)      Continue with the Teller Closeout.
